Meeting: |
Our Christmas Meeting will be held on Monday December 1st at 10:00
AM at Mary Mc Gees House at 212 Hollis St W in Waynesboro, TN.
We are going to do a Potluck Lunch, so please bring a dish to
pass. We will also be going to The Topsy Home right after our
meeting, so don't forget to bring your Christmas donations. |

Recent
Events: |
The past few
months our members have been working very hard on our Christmas
Project. We finished it up at November's Meeting. We
made many Lap Quilts to donate to people in a Nursing Home for the
Indigent here in Wayne County. Thanks to all who donated their
time, and fabric, etc. |

Purpose: |
The Square Quilter's Guild of
Wayne County Tennessee was created as a way for people to get
together and share their love of quilting. We also have made
it a part of our mission to use our quilting skills to help
citizens in the Wayne County Area.
We have made lap quilts to donate to seniors in area nursing
homes. We have made and donated small blankets to the maternity
center and to the foster kids program. We also hold fundraisers so
we can then donate funds to charities that provide services to the
citizens of Wayne County. We have contributed money to the Lion's
Club, to help purchase a vehicle for our veteran's to use to go to
the VA hospital, to the Lady's in Pink (a cancer support group),
The Woman of the Well, and The Red Cross Shelter in our area |
